Today I want tell you a bit about a professional painter and jewelry creator from Russia. We’ve been working together for a while and I can tell you that every time I shoot her new collections, I want to keep her jewelry for myself!
“My name is Maria and though I say I am from Moscow, this is not entirely true. I am originally from Khimky, a small town near Moscow, and for the past 6 years I have been living in Saint-Petersburg, a city that I find very peculiar. Throughout my life, art has been very important to me. Before I started making jewelry, my focus was to paint on bracelets, earrings and rings. These paintings were often thematic and were reporductions of famous works from great artists such as Monet, Van Gogh, Hundertwasser and would sometimes even included cartoon characters and any other art that I found inspiring.
